SAB 0046

The Orange Ball Corallimorph is often mistaken for an anemone, and is in fact very similar with its food- grabbing tentacles and its centrally located mouth all on a stalk-like base. This one is not the normal brownish color, and is actually quite pretty.

Taken with a Minolta Maxxum 7000 and a Sigma 50mm macro lens in an Ikelite housing with dual Ikelite Ai/n strobes on Fuji Velvia film.
