A diver passes over a healthy stand of Elkhorn Coral, Acropora palmata, photographed at the divesite known as Dairy Bull in Discovery Bay, Jamaica. This species of hard coral can grow quite rapidly, up to five or six inches per year or more under optimal conditions.
