A Sand Dollar, the Red Heart Urchin, Meoma ventricosa ventricosa (yes, that was 2x ventricosa -- don't ask me, I did not make up these Latin names!), crawls in the sand at the divesite known as Hawksbill Reef in the waters near Bimini in the Bahamas. These critters, along with a couple of other similar species, leave behind the well-known white shells we commonly referred to as "Sand Dollars."

Equipment: Minolta 800si in an Ikelite housing with a Sigma 50mm macro lens and dual Ikelite SS200's on Velvia film.
