My wastepaper basket.

Ansel Adams once said his most important piece of darkroom equipment was his wastepaper basket. I whole-heartedly agree! There is probably no single thing you can do to improve your photography, or at least your viewers' perception of your photography, more than simply to throw away everything that is not up to standards! When in doubt, throw it out! What they don't see won't hurt you! So what if only one or two images out of a week's shooting are any good! Just spend more weeks shooting and eventually you'll have a nice collection of good images, even if completely by random luck. Just don't ever let anyone see your watepaper basket...
